Jr. Professional Services Consultant

Datran Media's Austin office is seeking a Professional Services Junior Consultant who will be responsible for delivering a suite of services to Datran Media customers. These services include product training, systems integrations, and email deliverability consulting. The Professional Services Junior Consultant will interact with clients on a daily basis via the phone and email. Ideal candidates will be excellent communicators, have the ability to manage their own workload, have a technical background or aptitude and possess excellent problem solving skills. The Professional Services Junior Consultant reports to the Director of Professional Services.
Responsibilities
- Assist team members with client engagements
- Review client mailings, compile reports and perform data analysis
- Continually improve the customer experience by regularly reviewing internal processes and procedures and recommending/driving positive change in the environment
- Work with delivery consultants towards solving email delivery challenges
- Provide support to the Datran Media Client Services department on a rotational basis, assisting with incoming customer issues and questions
- Assist with product deployments and new client setup
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written skills
- Experience with MS Excel required, and experience with MS Visio preferred
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner
- Bachelor's degree in business or technical field preferred, or commensurate experience
- Experience working in client facing environments
- Strong problem solving skills
- Working knowledge of software development concepts is a plus
- A working knowledge of SQL, SOAP / XML, DNS, SMTP, and database structure is a plus
- Experience in email marketing, email authentication, anti-spam policies and laws, ISP relations, and policies and procedures related to email delivery issues is a plus
