Sales Director
The successful candidate must be aggressive, creative, and resourceful and must enjoy working in a highly entrepreneurial environment. You will be a dynamic member of a tremendous team who is charged with delivering superior results. You will be responsible for prospecting, cultivating and successfully building new business partnerships with Fortune 2000 companies and Advertising Agencies.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, cultivate and develop new account business.
- Manage multiple business development initiatives in an entrepreneurial environment.
- Persuasively articulate Datran's offerings, competitive advantages, resources and processes via in-person sales meetings with C-Level executives.
- Demonstrate the value of Datran Media's products and services to drive business to closure.
- Maintain effective revenue generating relationships with direct clients and media agencies.
- Assist in business implementation of sales packages and ensure high levels of service to clients.
- Manage contract negotiations with clients and work with legal counsel as required.
- Work closely with the Account Management team to manage your business from testing to reporting to client services.
- Contribute to the development of marketing/sales collateral.
- Being a thought and action leader within the organization.
Requirements:
- Ideal candidate will have 7 years product or technology sales within an internet environment.
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
- Analytical experience is a must - problem solving, business evaluation, strategy development; ability to interpret and apply marketing research data.
- Team oriented, results oriented, innovative.
- Pro-active and self-directed with exceptional organizational skills.
- Excellent track record of sales accomplishments in online and/or direct response advertising.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate, structure, negotiate and close deals.
- Ability to work as part of a team, with a focus on achieving organizational, team and personal goals.
- Ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple assignments.
- Possess established contacts with advertising agencies, clients and publishers.
- Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
