Co-Founder Keiser to Depart; Graf Joins as Executive Vice President; Boullion and D'Anna Take the Helm of Two of the Company's Strategic Business Lines
NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - March 4, 2009) - Datran Media, a leading digital marketing technology company, today announced the departure of co-founder, Matt Keiser, alongside three key senior executive appointments that will help advance the company's growth and expansion. Keiser's departure was a move that he planned in collaboration with Datran Media's Chairman and CEO, Patrick Vogt. He remains active on the company's board. The appointments of Andrew Graf as executive vice president, Tony D'Anna as general manager of the company's StormPost email business line and Todd Boullion as president of its UnsubCentral compliance technology business fill roles deemed critical to delivering on Datran Media's corporate strategy and its commitment to its clients. All three new executives report directly to Vogt.
"On behalf of the entire team at Datran Media, we are grateful for the outstanding leadership that Matt has provided since founding this great company and are pleased that he will remain on our board. We are also delighted to welcome Andy, Tony and Todd, three well-respected, seasoned, and talented professionals," said Patrick Vogt, Chairman and CEO of Datran Media. "Each will play a key role as we continue to move ahead in areas with significant growth opportunities for the company."
In his role as executive vice president, Andrew Graf assumes responsibility for governing Datran Media's corporate finance and investment functions, including its active M&A program. Mr. Graf brings nearly two decades of legal and financial expertise to the company. In his most recent role as executive vice president of corporate development and secretary and general counsel for Enliven Marketing Technologies, Mr. Graf helped the publicly-traded company raise over $20 million in capital, acquire two companies and merge with a larger public entity for several times its revenue multiple. Prior to his role at Enliven, Mr. Graf represented public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, private placements and corporate and securities law matters as a Global Corporate and M&A Associate at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in New York. Earlier in his career, he held finance and accounting positions at HarperCollins and Arthur Andersen.
In his role as GM for Datran Media's StormPost email business line, Tony D'Anna assumes responsibility for the growth and success of the company's top-ranked email marketing deployment and monetization technology products and services. Over the past 24 months, Datran Media's email marketing solutions have been increasingly integrated with the solutions the company offers across other channels. This is making it easier for Datran Media's clients and advertising partners to adopt a single digital marketing technology solution for their multi-channel marketing needs. Prior to joining Datran Media, Mr. D'Anna also served at Enliven Marketing Technologies as vice president of its Unicast division. Following Enliven's merger, Mr. D'Anna remained with the company, maintaining the same role within its Unicast division; where he managed re-launch efforts for its Unicast rich media ad solution into the Agency Channel. Earlier in his career, Mr. D'Anna held senior management roles at Dell and Sony. Notably, Mr. D'Anna oversaw Dell's retail sales organization of more than 1000 employees across 150 locations. He also managed sales and operations for Sony's first Direct Marketing business. Mr. D'Anna has stood out as a top sales growth leader at global Fortune 500 companies on numerous occasions.
In his role as president of Datran Media's UnsubCentral compliance technology business, Todd Boullion assumes responsibility for the growth and success of one of the company's premier acquisitions. UnsubCentral was acquired by Datran Media in 2006. UnsubCentral's technology solution helps ensure that leading advertisers and their affiliate partners comply with multi-channel advertising specific laws and data privacy requirements. The brand launched at the International Association of Privacy Professionals annual conference in 2004 after the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003 mandated that advertisers who leveraged the email channel adhere to specific rules around consumer privacy and unsubscribe requests. UnsubCentral quickly garnered support from top privacy officers charged with protecting global brands engaged in multi-channel marketing and grew its client base to include the majority of top-tier email service providers and many Fortune 500 advertisers. The company's solution set has also grown to support telemarketing unsubscribe requests and supports MD5 best practices endorsed by leading privacy organizations. During Mr. Boullion's 15 year career, he has served in executive roles at Dell and Bank of America. Across these roles, Mr. Boullion has earned many awards and distinction for exemplary performance. Significantly, Mr. Boullion created and executed worldwide plans to drive market share across all commercial offerings at Dell, led partnership development programs for the company's alliances with global Fortune 500 accounts and managed marketing and operational teams.
