Datran Media Executives to Lead Online Marketing, Trust, Engagement and Protection Talks Across New York City's Internet Week
NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - June 4, 2010) - Datran Media, an industry-leading digital marketing technology company today announced that executives responsible for its marketing technology, audience analytics and compliance businesses will lead online trust and engagement discussions with audiences attending Internet Week events including DigiDay: Target and MinOnline's second-annual Bottom-Line Leadership Conference for Magazine Brands. Both events take place in NYC next week.
On June 9 at 8:15 a.m., Karl Lendenmann, VP of marketing and analytics for Datran Media, and Steven Vine, chief privacy attorney for Datran Media, will kick off DigiDay: Target with a VIP breakfast conversation alongside Chuck Curran, executive director of the NAI and Timothy Tobin, associate at Hogan Lovells. The session, "Targeting and the Consumer," will address the position of the consumer in the digital advertising landscape and include an early peek into SSI survey results that will reveal consumers' perceptions and preferences around interest-based advertising online. The panel will be moderated by DigiDay senior editor John Gaffney.
Later that day, at 5:20 p.m., Datran Media's GM of Aperture, Scott Knoll, will speak on a panel titled, "Is it Marketer Safe? How to Protect The Brand." As more and more marketers buy placements based on audiences instead of quality-controlled contextual content placements, brands can become vulnerable and wind up in low-grade content that may not be appropriate. Knoll will discuss options for achieving scale while attaining visibility and protecting the brand. Co-panelists include Kirby Winfield, president and CRO of Mpire, Kara Weber, VP of marketing for The Rubicon Project, and Chuck Cordray, SVP and GM of Hearst Magazines Digital Media. The panel will be moderated by Andrew Koven, president of e-commerce and customer experience for Steve Madden.
On June 10 at 10:15 a.m., Datran Media's SVP of media services, Jason Oates, will present a case study in audience measurement at the MinOnline Bottom-Line Leadership Conference for Magazine Brands. During his session, Oates will discuss the best examples of what today's leading publishers have done to generate value from their digital models and explore ways that every publisher in the room can apply the same strategies.
At 1:30 p.m. the same day, Oates will join Frank Foster, VP of research for AT&T Advanced Ad Solutions, Jim Spanfeller, president of Spanfeller Group, and Matthew Schulte, national sales director for Wenner Media, in a panel titled, "How to Harness New Targeting Technologies." Alex Baxter, VP and GM of digital for Parade Publications, will moderate the panel focused on providing audience members with new targeting technology choices and implications.
