Datran Media's Chief Evangelist Joshua Baer Awarded "Information Technologist of the Year" by Austin InnoTech and the Association of Information Technology Professionals
NEW YORK, NY - Today, Datran Media, an industry-leading digital marketing technology company, announced that its chief evangelist, Joshua Baer, has been awarded by InnoTech and the Association of Information Technology Professionals in the 2009 IT Executives of the Year award program. Baer is recognized in the information technologist of the year category, which in the past has honored executives from top Austin-based companies including Wayport, Inc, Pervasive Software, Webify and MessageOne. Baer was nominated for the IT Executive of the Year award for his vision and leadership in founding numerous technology-based companies over the years, including two companies he sold to Datran Media in 2006 and OtherInbox, a company that recently received several million dollars in a series A investment round. Baer currently serves as chief evangelist for Datran Media. In his role, Baer provides innovative technology thought leadership to the company's internal and external constituents, including the company's business lines and key clients. In addition to Baer's business technology contributions, he was also recognized for his philanthropic work in the Austin community.
