Datran Media Announces Support and Donation of 20 Million Ad Units for IAB's "Privacy Matters" Consumer Education Campaign
NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - December 14, 2009) - Today, Datran Media, an industry-leading digital marketing technology company, announced its support of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) "Privacy Matters" consumer education campaign that launched December 3. Datran Media's support of the campaign consists of a 20-million ad unit donation. The donated media will be used to help the IAB carry its education campaign to consumers.
The "Privacy Matters" campaign, designed by Schematic, a WPP company, consists of a series of unique and visually striking aesthetics and bold headlines. It will run throughout 2010 with the goal of reaching every American online. The Web site contains resources and tools designed to help consumers protect their online privacy and engage in conversation about their privacy concerns.

The campaign and its accompanying Web site are designed to help consumers protect their online privacy by increasing their awareness and understanding on how the advertising industry is gathering and utilizing data online.
