Datran Media Executives to Share Innovative Strategies for Multi-Channel Marketing Success With Top Retailers and Media Companies

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - February 08, 2008 - Datran Media, a leading provider of performance-based inbox marketing solutions, today announced its February 2008 speaking calendar. Commencing February 11, Datran Media executives will speak at five key online marketing conferences including: eTail 2008 in Palm Desert, CA, the DMA/EEC Email Evolution Conference in San Diego, the ESPC Deliverability Bootcamp in San Francisco, the Coremetrics Client Summit in Fort Worth, TX and 212 in New York City.
At 8:15 a.m. on February 11, Dave Hendricks, VP of market strategy, will kick off this year's eTail event in Palm Desert with a session titled "Bringing Innovation Back to Retail Marketing." Nicholas Einstein, Datran Media's director of strategic and analytical services, will also speak at the conference alongside Expedia, David's Bridal and Motorcycle Superstore in a how-to discussion around complex segmentation strategies at 2:30 p.m.
That same day, Chief Privacy Officer Quinn Jalli will help launch the first ever DMA/EEC Email Evolution conference with a pre-conference compliance workshop. The workshop is titled "Making it Safe Back into the Water" and will feature Jalli alongside UnsubCentral Vice President John Engler and other national legal, compliance and technology experts.
At 11:00 a.m. on February 13, Hendricks will appear on the circuit again at the DMA/EEC event to present "Email and Branding - Making the Connection." Hendricks and co-panelists Jeanniey Mullen of the EEC and Ian Thomas of Microsoft will specifically address issues around email acquisition, targeted advertising, inventory management, measuring the ROI of an integrated marketing model and how brand acquisition and targeted advertising programs help outplace current search results.
On February 21, Datran Media Chief Technology Officer Joshua Baer will help marketers implement best practices for email deliverability at the ESPC's Email Deliverability Bootcamp in San Francisco. Baer is a long time expert in the space and the co-chair of the ESPC's technology committee. The bootcamp will take place from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Hendricks and Datran Media Chief Revenue Officer Sean O'Neal will conclude the February 2008 speaking calendar in two different cities the week of February 25. First, Hendricks will speak in Fort Worth, TX, at the Coremetrics Client Summit as he addresses the summit attendees prior to a brief luncheon introduction at the Best Practices Pavilion. This lunch will provide the opportunity for attendees to interact with Coremetrics' key partners and discover the many ways in which they can help maximize their online investments. Hendricks is scheduled to make a key product announcement at the summit as well.
Finally, O'Neal will speak about customer retention marketing at 212's Midtown Loft event in New York City on February 25 at 6:00 p.m. O'Neal will be joined HAVAS Digital/Media Contacts Senior Vice President and Group Account Director David D'Alleva and Y&R Vice President and Group Director, Insights and Optimization, Slavi Damardzja.
