Datran Media on the Road Again as Spring Speaking Circuit Expands
Executives to Speak at DMA's Market to the Max, Jupiter Media's INBOX Event and the MAAWG 10th General Meeting in May/June 2007
NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 16, 2007 --Datran Media, a leading provider of performance-based email marketing solutions, today announced a robust May/June 2007 speaking calendar for its executives. Beginning on May 21 in Seattle, WA, at the Direct Marketing Association's Market to the Max event, Datran Media's Chief Marketing Officer Sean O'Neal will participate in an email marketing insight panel. On June 1, Vice President of Marketing Lana McGilvray will discuss the top marketing pitfalls at Jupiter Media's INBOX: The Email Event in San Jose, CA. Rounding out the Datran Media spring speaking circuit, Chief Privacy Officer Quinn Jalli will speak at the MAAWG Tenth General Meeting in Dublin, Ireland on June 5-7.
O'Neal's panel at the DMA's Market to the Max event will take place at 2:00 p.m. on May 21 and will be moderated by email marketing guru Justin Foster, vice president of professional services at WhatCounts. O'Neal brings years of experience working with major brands and advertising agencies as well as maintaining a successful marketing consulting practice working with entertainment and media companies. During this session, panelists will discuss email marketing best practices, the latest techniques, email acquisition, offline to online integration and more. Co-panelists include Marco Lopez, senior digital marketing manager for Farecast, and Robb Walters, director of e-commerce for Costco.
At 1:45 p.m. on June 1, McGilvray will participate in a panel titled "Top Marketing Pitfalls: What NOT To Do" at Jupiter Media's INBOX Event. Attendees will learn the common email malpractices that may be causing organizations to lose resources and new customers while damaging their brands. Moderated by Mark Naples, managing partner of WIT Strategy, panelists will outline the guidelines for email best practices -- from practice to policy to design -- as well as strategies to ensure that every email campaign is relevant and maps back to brand image and ROI.
McGilvray calls upon 12 years' experience in global multi-channel marketing communications, strategy, client relationship management and public relations, as well as leadership roles in industry organizations such as the ESPC, EEC and DMA.
