Patrick Vogt, Chairman and CEO
Mr. Patrick Vogt joined Datran Media from Enliven Marketing Technologies where he served as CEO from 2005 until he successfully merged the company with a larger publicly traded company.
Prior to his role at Enliven, Mr. Vogt established himself as a highly respected technology executive with some of the industry's most reputable brands including Sony, Dell and HP.
During his initial tenure at Sony in 1991, Mr. Vogt was vice president and general manager, Sony's direct-to-consumer business. In 1999 he joined Dell as general manager responsible for the aftermarket sales and marketing division and Dell Online. Mr. Vogt subsequently joined HP as vice president and general manager, Americas e-business group & direct marketing group. His team managed all direct marketing activities and the direct online business for the Americas region. During his second tenure at Sony he was senior vice president and senior general manager of Sony e-solutions company LLC. His team was responsible for internet properties management, direct marketing and sales across all customer segments and product offerings. Other responsibilities included global contact center governance, the e-commerce and contact center platform (supporting all distribution channels) and P&L management.
Mr. Vogt received a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York and has an MBA in marketing from Iona College, Hagen School of Business.
Andrew Graf, Chief Operating Officer
Andrew Graf is responsible for governing Datran Media's corporate finance and investment functions, including its active M&A program. Mr. Graf brings nearly two decades of legal and financial expertise to the company. In his most recent role as executive vice president of corporate development and secretary and general counsel for Enliven Marketing Technologies, Mr. Graf helped the publicly-traded company raise over $20 million in capital, acquire two companies and merge with a larger public entity for several times its revenue multiple. Prior to his role at Enliven, Mr. Graf represented public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, private placements and corporate and security law matters as a global corporate and M&A associate for Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in New York. Earlier in his career, he held finance and accounting positions at HarperCollins and Arthur Andersen. Mr. Graf is a graduate of New York University's Stern School of Business and holds Juris Doctorate from the Cardozo School of Law.
Dennis Syracuse, Chief Marketing Officer
Dennis Syracuse is a marketing and analytics industry veteran whose esteemed career has spanned over 20 years and whose experience includes senior management roles in global marketing and brand strategy. In his role as senior vice president of marketing analytics for Datran Media, Syracuse has been charged with establishing a marketing analytics consulting practice, which provides professional consulting services to agencies. Prior to joining Datran Media, Syracuse served as senior vice president for Sony Electronics where he successfully and profitably led retail operations and merchandising across 65 SonyStyle store properties. Previous leadership experience includes marketing consulting roles across top brand and luxury retailers. Syracuse's strengths lie in his ability to implement strategies that enlarge market share and significantly increase revenues while reducing costs and increasing operational efficiencies. Syracuse is a frequent recipient of business awards for marketing, sales and leadership and is a highly regarded industry spokesperson.
Steven Vine, Counsel & Chief Privacy Officer
Mr. Vine oversees legal affairs and privacy matters for UnsubCentral. Mr. Vine previously served as Deputy General Counsel for Register.com where assumed responsibility for all aspects of the legal department, including privacy, compliance, dispute and litigation management and intellectual property. Prior to Register.com, Steven was a Corporate Associate at the law firm Kaye Scholer, where he represented clients such as VNU in mergers & acquisitions, securities transactions and other general corporate matters. Steven graduated from NYU law school.
Chris Gaebler, Senior Vice President of Mobile and Social
Chris Gaebler is the senior vice president leading Aperture's professional services business and Datran Media's Mobile and Social Media Business. Chris has extensive experience in strategic marketing, Web analytics, brand architecture, market research and metrics for major blue chip companies, including Sony, Microsoft and Hewlett Packard, among others. Prior to joining Datran Media, Chris served as vice president, research, media and CRM for Sony Electronics, where he worked for eight years. Previous leadership experience includes co-founder and chief operating officer for advertising services company FreeCar Media, and entrepreneurial consultant for Idealab, a leading business technology incubator group. Chris has also served as media and technology consultant for Accenture, a global management consulting and technology services firm.
Scott Knoll, GM, Aperture
Scott Knoll is the GM of Aperture for Datran Media where he champions all efforts related to its Aperture solution.
The former CEO of BlackFoot and a former DoubleClick executive, Mr. Knoll has more than 18 years of experience in technology and advertising. At DoubleClick Inc., Mr. Knoll oversaw the launch and development of the DoubleClick ad network in nine countries. During the same tenure, Mr. Knoll also held several senior roles, including vice president and general manager of marketing solutions, managing director DoubleClick Asia Pacific and vice president of operations.
Mr. Knoll also co-founded and served as COO of data services company Verified Person and held management roles at Time Warner Inc. and Andersen Consulting.
Jason Oates, SVP of Media
In his role as senior vice president of media at Datran Media, Jason Oates has overseen the development and growth of NetMargin: one of the industries most successful performance media networks, and Top Colleges: an education portal known for its lead quality and expertise email acquisition marketing.
By focusing on behavioral marketing, consumer centricity, privacy/compliance and the development of a complete set of marketing services, NetMargin and Top Colleges have become marketplaces where partners find an efficient, scalable and predictable source for qualified customers and revenue.
Jason has leveraged his 10 years of agency experience and Datran Media's advanced technologies and expertise in email customer acquisition, retention and monetization to established more iAOR (inbox agency of record) relationships with Fortune 1000 companies than any of his competitors.
Prior to joining NetMargin, Mr. Oates earned industry recognition for his visionary contributions to the interactive media industry, specifically in the advertising, online and media development arena. Mr. Oates vast experience in branding and direct marketing was key in his former roles at Integrated Media Solutions, Avenue A, JMCP and D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles where he provided outstanding value to clients including Proctor & Gamble, GM, Mastercard and Smith Kline Beecham.
Jason regularly speaks at conferences and events such as DMA, Affiliate Summit, EEC and Affiliate Conference. He also contributes to leading industry publications as well as organizational initiatives.
Tony D'Anna, GM, StormPost Email Business Line
Tony D'Anna is responsible for the growth and success of the Datran Media's top-ranked StormPost email marketing deployment and monetization technology products and services. Prior to joining Datran Media, Mr. D'Anna served at Enliven Marketing Technologies as vice president of its Unicast division. Following Enliven's merger, Mr. D'Anna remained with the company, maintaining the same role within its Unicast division, where he managed re-launch efforts for Unicast's rich media ad solution into the agency channel. Earlier in his career, Mr. D'Anna held senior management roles at Dell and Sony. Notably, Mr. D'Anna oversaw Dell's retail sales organization of more than 1000 employees across 150 locations. He also managed sales and operations for Sony's first direct marketing business. Mr. D'Anna has stood out as a top sales growth leader at global Fortune 500 companies on numerous occasions.
Todd Boullion, President, UnsubCentral
Todd Boullion is responsible for the growth and success of one of Datran Media's premier compliance business line, UnsubCentral. During Mr. Boullion's 15 year career, he has served in executive roles at Dell and Bank of America. Across these roles, Mr. Boullion has earned many awards and distinction for exemplary performance. Significantly, Mr. Boullion created and executed worldwide plans to drive market share across all commercial offerings at Dell, led partnership development programs for the company's alliances with global Fortune 500 accounts and managed marketing and operational teams. Mr. Boullion is a graduate of Texas Christian University and is a board member on its national alumni board.
Lana McGilvray, Vice President of Marketing, Datran Media
Lana McGilvray is responsible for the success of Datran Media's company-wide marketing communications, branding, positioning and lead generation programs. In addition to her day to day responsibilities, McGilvray also oversees Datran Media's relationships with the DMA, EEC, ESPC, Forrester Research, IAB, NAI and OTA. At the EEC, she serves as co-chair for the Speakers Bureau Committee, where she facilitates placement of experts across forums and industry-wide evangelism efforts. She has similarly engaged across these organizations at critical junctures including her active support and participation in the hearings and forums that eventually led to the enactment of the CAN-SPAM law.
Ms. McGilvray has been the frequent recipient of both professional and community awards and regularly contributes to stories, publications and research. Prior to joining Datran Media in 2006, Ms. McGilvray spent five years as vice President of marketing for SKYLIST and UnsubCentral. Both companies were acquired by Datran Media in 2006. From 1995 - 2001 served in marketing and research roles at Concero, Inc., McCann-Erickson Worldwide Advertising, the City of White Plains and Columbia University's Graduate School of Business.
Lindsay Mure-O'Neill, Vice President of Business Development for Aperture, Datran Media
Lindsay Mure-O'Neill is the vice president of business development for Aperture at Datran Media. Aperture is the audience targeting and media analytics solution powered by Datran Media. The founder of The Femme Network, and former media and marketing executive at several media companies, Ms. Mure-O'Neill has more than 10 years experience in marketing and advertising. Throughout her career, Ms. Mure-O'Neill has developed her expertise in the digital direct marketing, search, email and display marketing arenas. By the time Ms. Mure-O'Neill was 25 years old she co-founded one digital media company, founded Ad Femme Inc. (The Femme Network) and was voted a "Top Entrepreneur" by Crain's NY and Forbes.com.
Dr. Karl Lendenmann, VP, Marketing & Analytic
As vice president of marketing and analytics, Dr. Karl Lendenmann is responsible for driving company-wide best practices in key areas that increase the relevance, engagement and value of Datran Media programs for both advertisers and publishers. These include in-market testing, data mining, responder profiling and segmentation, predictive modeling and lead scoring, as well as marketing research. Dr. Lendenmann previously served as a partner at KPMG LLP (US) and was partner-in-charge of KPMG international marketing and communications (Amsterdam, NL). Dr. Lendenmann has also been a senior partner and managing director of account planning at Bozell Worldwide and has held similar positions at Salvati Montgomery & Sakoda, Wakeman & deForest, Brierley & Partners and Dentsu Young & Rubicam. Dr. Lendenmann has taught courses for over 10 years in strategic market planning, consumer behavior, research and integrated marketing, first at UCLA Extension and then at UC Irvine Extension.
Nicholas Einstein, Director of Strategic & Analytic Services
With nearly 15 years of online marketing experience, Nicholas Einstein can safely be considered an industry veteran. Specializing in e-messaging and CRM strategy, Mr. Einstein has spent his entire career helping companies of all kinds leverage online channels to communicate more effectively with their customers and prospects.
Mr. Einstein has significant agency experience, and at one time ran RealNetwork's worldwide email operations. He has served a variety of high profile clients ranging from Accenture, Sony and NBC Universal to Graco, Rolling Stone and New York Magazine, and has helped each drive incremental revenue and customer lifetime value. Mr. Einstein currently serves as Datran Media's director of strategic & analytic services, where he helps some of America's top brands develop and optimize their email and CRM programs.
Mr. Einstein received his MBA from the University of Washington and his BA in Anthropology & Sociology from Kenyon College. He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and two daughters.
